Smartphone-Operated Air-Cushion Vehicle project

This initiative presents the development of a remotely piloted hovercraft unit governed through an Android-based handheld interface. The architecture integrates a Bluetooth transceiver module interfaced with a microcontroller, which modulates the thrust output of brushless DC motors to achieve levitation and directional maneuverability. A dedicated mobile software layer transmits command vectors to the onboard control unit, enabling real-time velocity modulation and trajectory adjustment. The vehicle chassis employs a lightweight polymer skirt to maintain the air cushion, while dual-propeller assemblies handle propulsion and steering. The system demonstrates the convergence of wireless telemetry, embedded control logic, and aerodynamic design principles, offering a scalable testbed for unmanned surface vehicle research.
