On-Demand Computing Resource Projects

Cloud computing abstracts physical infrastructure into programmatically provisioned virtual resources. This project architects a scalable web service deployed across Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Infrastructure-as-Code templates define auto-scaling compute clusters, managed database instances, content delivery networks, and serverless function triggers. The application tier implements microservices communication through message queues and service discovery patterns. Operational concerns—including centralized logging, distributed tracing, automated backup policies, and disaster recovery runbooks—are addressed through managed cloud-native services. Cost optimization strategies such as reserved capacity planning and spot instance utilization are modeled and compared against on-demand pricing.
