Keypad Based Door Lock System Using Arduino
Traditional mechanical locks are vulnerable to picking and key duplication. This project implements an electronic door lock with keyless, password-protected access. A 4x4 matrix keypad provides password entry interface. LCD shows prompts and status. Default password stored in EEPROM, changeable through setup menu. Correct password drives servo motor to rotate lock bolt. After 3 wrong attempts, system locks out and sounds buzzer alarm. Combines keypad scanning, servo control, and EEPROM usage.
