Conventional motorcycle indicators demand handlebar manipulation, which poses safety risks during turns or when carrying cargo. This innovation translates natural hand gestures into electrical switching commands through wearable gloves instrumented with flex sensors and accelerometers. When the rider extends their left or right arm in a standardized traffic signal, the onboard inertial measurement unit detects the orientation change and broadcasts a wireless activation command to LED indicator strips mounted on the motorcycle chassis. A central microcontroller arbitrates signal priority, enforces automatic timeout cancellation, and provides haptic confirmation to the rider. The system enhances conspicuity, reduces cognitive load, and aligns with universal non-verbal traffic communication norms.
