Blockchain systems offer immutable, consensus-driven record-keeping without centralized trust anchors. This project implements a permissioned ledger network using Hyperledger Fabric or Ethereum smart contracts to model a specific use case—such as supply chain provenance, academic credential verification, or cross-border remittance. The architecture defines chaincode functions for asset creation, transfer, and query, enforcing business rules through deterministic execution. Consensus mechanisms (Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance or Proof of Authority) ensure ledger consistency across geographically distributed peer nodes. A web-based client application provides intuitive interaction with the blockchain layer, abstracting cryptographic wallet management and transaction signing. The deliverable includes security analysis of common vulnerability classes and mitigation strategies.
